48 hours notice is required for the Practice to process repeat prescriptions.
The Practice no longer accepts repeat prescription requests via the telephone. This is for safety reasons and also to allow patients to get through to the Practice on the telephone with greater ease.
Our preferred method is for you to tick the items you require on the counterfoil included with each and every prescription and either bring this to the Practice, or post it to us. Prescription request drop boxes are available at both the main and branch surgeries, so you dont have to queue to give us the request.
Alternatively you can request repeat medication via this website - just click on the "request medication" box on the home page.
Patients can also request repeat medication via the Patient Online Access Portal, once they are registered to use it. Please ask a receptionist for the appropriate forms (patients will need to bring some form of identification to verify their identity to allow us to set you up) if you wish to sign up to this service, or see the "Patient Online Access" page of the website for further information.
The Practice is now live with the NHS Electronic Prescription Service. This means that we can send prescriptions for most repeat medications directly, electronically and securely to the Pharmacy of your choice without you having to come and collect it.
